High school fees and associated costs of personal hygiene products (toiletries, sanitary towels); reading materials and supplies (pens, books); uniforms, and transportation are keeping children out of the classroom, and girls are the most vulnerable.~ (UN Children’s Fund).
Book Bags for Change
We are currently looking for volunteers to participate in the “Book Bags for Change” fundraiser on behalf of AERC. Volunteers will help to distribute book-bags in their communities. These small bags resemble the bags used for carrying books to school–unfortunately, many book bags remain empty because the girls cannot afford school supplies! You can change this situation. Contact Us to learn more about this exciting fundraiser initiative.
Make a Donation
Your financial gifts make it possible for girls’ lives to be changed through an education. Tax receipts will be given to donors where allowable by law (currently for donors in the United States only).
